I hadn't thought of this cartoonist for a long time, but I remember getting a kick out his delightfully subtle and macabre work. Sometimes you have to look a little awhile before you "get it." (Or at least I do. )

Hmmm..... This raises a lot of questions.

This morning, I decided to look this guy up, and I didn't realize that he created the characters in The Addams Family! Here's one unrelated to them.
