Happy Friday the 13th!!

Post by Kitty »

I'm going to watch some horror movies today with my husband! This includes the original Frankenstein. I've never seen it!

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

I've never seen the Boris Karloff Frankenstein, either, actually. Hope you enjoy it! It was only recently that I saw the Bela Lugosi Dracula.

It wasn't bad at all! I have never seen Dracula, either.

I really should watch Dracula this month. I have a 2-disc set with the Bela Lugosi one and the Spanish version that was filmed during the same period on the same sets. People say the Spanish one is better because the director, who used the sets at night, hung around in the daytime watching the other film crew and scouting out better camera angles. I don't know when the heck he slept. Anyway, I'll report back whenever I get around to watching them.

Yes! Would love to hear that. That's interesting that there are two versions.

Correct as usual, Uncle Friday. But we missed observing another one a couple days ago.

Oopsies! You're right! I'll have to listen to that again very soon in observance.
