New Blog Post!
Re: New Blog Post!
I'm glad you think so! I was afraid it would be too kiddie.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

I'm enjoying the story—especially the idyllic party in the woods around the roaring fire.

Isn't there such beautiful imagery in this story? I feel like I'm there.

Enjoyed today's chapter! That first paragraph makes me miss fires in the fireplace so much. When I was growing up, my mother always insisted on having a fire, even though it was some trouble and mess. There's nothing quite like it... I loved that line about the fire telling secrets to the chimney. And also the part about the visit to Mistress McShuttle.

That's my favorite chapter, too. I love that first paragraph. I strive to write like that. It makes people 'feel' the story. Gives you such a warm fuzzy feeling.
