:lol: That was a nice funny one.

I must admit, I really loved the second stanza. I actually think that even out of context, it works nicely:
It started out so peacefully,
The Jokers were on bended knees.
The birds all sang a happy tune,
The bees all hummed the song of June.

I'm not sure why, but there's something about the spirit of that poem that made me remember a favorite nonsense poem of mine:

One bright morning in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And ran to save the two dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie is true,
Ask the blind man—he saw it, too.
