Enjoyed today's chapter! That first paragraph makes me miss fires in the fireplace so much. When I was growing up, my mother always insisted on having a fire, even though it was some trouble and mess. There's nothing quite like it... I loved that line about the fire telling secrets to the chimney. And also the part about the visit to Mistress McShuttle.

That's my favorite chapter, too. I love that first paragraph. I strive to write like that. It makes people 'feel' the story. Gives you such a warm fuzzy feeling.
