This was my favorite. Still is lol. 8 seasons wow
Great lessons. Very wholesome. Would love to see a show like that now.

Wow I didn't know it was on for 8 seasons! I shouldn't be surprised with the lasting impression it made on people. And what a catchy theme! And I love Don Knotts. From Mister Furley to Mister Bone, the principal on Nickelodeon's Doug, his career spanned many decades. Everyone knows him.

Hi, Mair0613! Andy Griffith is my favorite show of all time! I don't believe the quality of the writing on that show has never been surpassed—especially in the middle seasons. I have seen all the episodes so many times that I can practically quote the dialogue straight through. :D
