It's been a long time since I was in a laundromat, but I think that one is a lot fancier than the ones today, isn't it? I guess that chain is no longer in business. You know, I've seen remnants of those Norge signs, and never knew what business they were originally for. They were always polkadot balls on poles.

Interesting! I didn't know it was a chain. Thought it was some family laundromat that someone was trying to get rid of. I've never heard of the name.

Yes, it seems to have been a nationwide chain. He made some references to it near the end of the video. Here's one of the signs. Ever seen anything like that? Some of them (prob not many) may still be around, repurposed with other business names.

No, unfortunately I have never seen one of those. Another I've not had the pleasure of seeing (guess they're all gone now) is the Burma Shave roadsigns. Would have loved to be able to see those.

I'd have liked to see the Burma Shave ones, too.
