Bill Cullen

Well, what do you think? I rather like him! He seems nice. I feel like he and Dick Clark could have been good friends.

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Yes! Bill Cullen is an old favorite of mine. It seems he was everywhere on the game show scene for decades, and I always liked him on anything he was on.

Oh yes I loved Bill Cullen too. I remember him from To Tell The Truth and I've Got A Secret the most.
We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!

Yes, I was watching I've Got A Secret when I wrote the post!! He seriously cracked up one of the teenagers whose secret was the they made dinner for the panel. I think it was a crab that the one teenager made for him and he looked at it and said "Hello! I haven't seen you since high school!" And I thought the boy was going to fall on the floor.

That is so neat! Is this just a picture from the Internet, or were you fortunate enough to find it somewhere?

"Bill also found the time to release a record album, entitled "Bill Cullen's Minstrel Spectacular", a history of the American minstrel show, featuring various performances held together by his narration."

No, it's just a photo from the interwebs—Facebook, I believe. So I guess he just kind of emceed on the album, too. That might be interesting to listen to.
