Master Mystery (1918)

This is ultra cool! I just discovered this serial starring none other than Harry Houdini. :) It is in 15 parts, though partial footage from a few of the parts has been lost. This was released on dvd back in 2008 by Kino, but it seems to now be out of print. However, the whole thing seems to be available on YouTube.

Was anyone else aware of the existence of this?

Here is a short clip from one of the episodes. The mastermind of the criminal gang is a most unusual one. Be watching for him at :34. :D
