Thanks for giving me an interesting information, Kitty! :D

One is Business, Other Crime is interesting.
Personally Sweet is the best, secondly poor husband for me. Benard is good-looking, but seems untalented in the film.
I don't know whether her talent is unnecessary for her role.

I think Dorothy Bernard was a pretty talented actress, but she did not have much to do in this film other than just sit or lie around looking sad. :D

Another of my favorites. This one was directed by Alice Guy-Blaché. The score is by the marvelous Ben Model.

The kid in F.L is mature and nice. I was surprised that the kid is so mature for her age.

The Portrait of Lady Anne
I wanted to watch a film of Florence Badie. Unfortunately it has no music, but interesting. I like her talent.

That's a good story. Florence LaBadie was a very talented and beautiful actress. Here is another one of my favorites she is in.

The Motorist
-Quite unique! Perhaps then audiences liked this film.

Poor Mother
-The actress acting the mother is well-acted. It's both kinda funny and sad for me.

Poor Mother is most depressing. :( I love The Motorist—so surreal! :)

Poor Mother is amazing. Yes, it is sad, but the effects are very cutting edge for 1906, and for a drama, too. I wish I knew who the one playing the mother is. Did you know this was a French film? It was done by Pathe Freres. I won't forget this one. Beautiful.
The Motorist is interesting! Definitely dreamlike---kind of like the Dream of a Rarebit Fiend comic strips by Winsor McKay.
Well, I was going to post the Dream of a Rarebit Fiend silent short from 1906, but MY! Those videos on youtube have the worst music ever, and it wasn't that good of a film, anyway. Instead, I'll post Princess Nicotine, 1906. It was directed by J. Stuart Blackton of Vitagraph, who, by the way, also was the founder of Motion Picture Story Magazine, which later became Motion Picture Magzine. This one was memorable for the closeup of the fairies and the super awesome stop-motion part. (If you know me, you know I'm crazy for stop motion!) Well, here it is!

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
