Happy Easter! Here is another amazing Segundo de Chomon. I love these fairy tale type fantasy films. The Easter Eggs (1907)

Silent Shorts
Re: Silent Shorts
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Silent Shorts
That's a really charming one, isn't it? I can imagine how fascinated the original audiences must have been at that.
Thanks for posting—very nice for Easter.

Re: Silent Shorts
I'm shocked that I hadn't seen it before!

Re: Silent Shorts
That one's great. I can't believe I never ran across that before.
Re: Silent Shorts
Same. It's supposedly the first recorded kiss of an African American couple.

Re: Silent Shorts
Another Segundo de Chomon, this one with the subject of Japanese Butterflies (1908)
This one is really cool, and actually sort of scary at one point, though I don't think that was the intention.
Throw on some pretty Japanese music, as it seems this one has no score.

Re: Silent Shorts
A good one. I didn't know where to find any pretty Japanese music, so I listened to score of a post of The Electric Hotel, which turned out to be the Blue Danube waltz.
The woman's disappearance at 2:12 is an amazing illusion.

Re: Silent Shorts
Isn't it awesome how good some of the illusions are?
