The Sprinkler Sprinkled apparently has multiple versions made by the Lumiere brothers! (1895)

Do you know of any other versions of this?

Interesting! I'd never seen the second one. According to IMDb, there are two versions, one made in 1895 and one in 1896, so this must be them. (The first remake? :) ) I like the top one best, which I'm assuming is the 1895.

Fatty and Mabel Adrift remains one of my favorite two reelers. The Cook with him and Buster Keaton is another one.
Good ones. :D And how about The Waiter's Ball? Have you seen it? One of my favorites.

No, I hadn't. Thanks for sharing!

And how about The Butcher Boy with Al St. John and Buster Keaton (his film debut). You've seen that one, right?

A delightful 1 minute short from 1902, Grandpa's Reading Glass.

The quality is pretty bad, but remember it's from 1902. :D

That baby does not look amused! My favorite part was the kitten.🐈🐾

Somehow I did not realize those were their pets. But monkeys were a common rich person pet back in the day.

Here is an extremely pleasant, oddly uplifting clip of a bunch of college girls going for sleigh rides and sliding through mountains of snow in 1906 in Gloversville New York.

Bumping this because 'tis the season!
