Green Room Jottings is a section that would have random interesting facts about the players. "Little Whisperings from Everywhere in Playerdom" is what it is subtitled. Here is a strange one. Why would G. M. Anderson want his name pulled from the contest? (By the way, there is another Popular Players Contest going on for 1913, and I will post the results when they are finalized. )

Usually these comics aren't very interesting. They try, but I just don't like them most of the time. This one I thought was very cute, especially the last frame. Many people would write in asking or guessing who the Answer Man could be. May 1913 Motion Picture Story Magazine.

Greenroom Jottings was another section. It was subtitled "Little Whisperings From Everywhere In Playerdom", a sort of early gossip column. Rather than mostly lies, as we think of gossip columns being today, it was more a list of facts that might be of interest to their readers. It included death reports and reports of actors retiring, or even humorous things that may have happened to the actors. Here's one about Marc McDermott.
