I wonder if any false teeth dropped out.
Looking more closely at the photo MMM, it looks like someone has gone over the eyes and eyebrows to accentuate or try to enhance them, doesn't it?

You're right about MMM. Weird, huh? Kind of makes her look like a doll.
And also there is a little lavender bow in her hair on the left.

That's the most normal looking photo of Pola Negri I've seen. She looks more like a real person than an over-the-top character. (Though she still has the over-sized props. )
