I like those photos. Anna J. Nichols looks slightly like Theda Bara in profile, doesn't she?
Wow! You're good. Idk if I'd ever have made that connection, but she definitely does.
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Striking photo of Lubin actress Isabel Lamon! This photo is from the April 1913 edition of Motion Picture Story.

Wow! And aren't the borders of the photo charming in how they set off the portrait?

I didn't take note of them before, but I agree.

I guess maybe that was about the time she was working for D.W. Griffith—or maybe a little after.

Ouch! Here's a good one of Mabel and Ford Sterling. I saw this recently on the Looking for Mabel Facebook page.

You bet! I like that one. Yes, she was a bundle of life and energy—fit right in with Ford Sterling and the whole collection of hyperactive hams at Keystone. :D

Speaking of Mary Fuller, as we were in the Magazine Ads thread, here is a photo of her from 1914. Isn't this a beautiful photograph? Some of the photographers of that day were real artists.
