Ah, that's a perfect on of Colleen. I love the post and wistful expression.

Re: Favorite photos of silent stars
Grrr. The other day I came across a silent actress (not an obscure one) and I briefly wondered if she might be the one in this photo. I made a mental note to write down the name to remember... and promptly forgot. *facepalm*donnie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 1:46 pmI downloaded this awhile back with an idea of posting it. Unfortunately, now that I'm getting around to posting it, I can't remember who it is. It's a retired silent actress, though, I'm pretty sure.
Google image and file name searches turned up nothing, oddly. Oh, well, it's an interesting photo. The cigarette definitely takes center stage.

It seems we're both in pretty bad shape as far as an ID. Maybe one of us will come through.BettyLouSpence wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 3:39 pmGrrr. And I think I need to proofread. Make that: Ah, that's a perfect one of Colleen. I love the posture and wistful expression.

A good guess, but no, I don't think so. The shape of the nose in profile seems to rule it out.
