Have you ever heard of these silent actors from 1916?

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

Only one—Theodore Roberts. All the rest are unknown to me, nor have I heard of Pallas Pictures.

Theodore Roberts (I think he was familiarly referred to as Daddy Roberts) had a lead role in one of my favorite silents of all time, Miss Lulu Bett (1921). Although his was not a very likable character in the story, he was extremely effective in the role. I need to do a review of that film.

These look like some interesting pictures, though, don't they?

Yes!
I'd love to see your review. I have never seen that one.

I was looking for something on the forum, and saw this post again. Did you ever get around to writing this review?
