I like the early chalkboard animations, especially this one.

Another classic, though you have probably seen this one.

I've seen this before, possibly on TCM. It's fascinating. Thanks for sharing!

I love the lady in the beginning's hair. It's a dream of mine to have so much hair to do something with! Working on it.

You should fix it up in 1906 style. :)

Hubby would hate it. if my hair ever gets to the proper length I will try it!

Here is another Winsor McCay animated short. I like this one a lot better than the earlier Gertie the Dinosaur.
Please watch. I'd love to hear comments! Dream of a Rarebit Fiend: The Pet (1921)
P.S. What do YOU think that thing was?

I love that one! That was fun to watch. I think the thing is a dog-cow-cat-bear (with a little horse thrown in).

 I love it! At times while watching this, I thought of all those animals. Maybe a pig, too? One thing I noted about this one, is how lovely the drawings are of the people. It's like comic book art. I suppose that makes sense, since Windsor McCay did comic strips like Little Nemo. I think he was a real artist.
