Yeah, this looks like it would've been quite the farcical romp. Unfortunately, according to silentera.com the film's survival status is unknown. Which is a shame, because look at that all-star cast!

Check out this slide for The Million Dollar Mystery (1914). From this site devoted to glass lantern slides (there's a new bookmark!).

A glass slide for The Devil's Trail (1919) with Betty Compson. Unfortunately this one is lost, as is a large chunk of Betty's filmography.

I wonder why the handwriting on the Compson one is done in such a slapdash way, considering it was to be displayed on-screen.
The question mark on the Million Dollar Mystery reminds me of that poster Gaumont put up around Paris in 1915 to arouse curiosity and interest in advance of the release of Les Vampires.

Re: Silent Theatre Slides
I wonder if there were people in the theater asking the person next to them, "What does that say...?" and getting a shrug in response
Yes, it's the same idea with the head poking out of the question mark Really cool looking!

Yes, and there are art prints and posters available of that, too. I might buy one sometime—would make a striking wall hanging, wouldn't it?
Re: Silent Theatre Slides
Makes me want to cut that out and create a vinyl sticker. I'm going cricut crazy!
