Good sounds! She had an excellent style and voice. I especially like the part beginning at 1:33. And surprisingly, a lot of brass in the background.

Good stuff! And you know who the vocalist sounds like to me? A blend of Kathy Smith and Grace Slick. So I shouldn't wonder you would like it.
Hard to find much info on them; they seemed to have produced only this one album.

Yes, there's not much info out there on them. I do know they were from Boston, and after playing live for a while left disbanded to focus on college. I also remember reading that drummer Sandy Winslow suffered from mental health issues.

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: 60s Music
That's an interesting one. I've never heard it.
Here's one from three years earlier (which is hard to believe with the differences in style, sounding more like decades apart). I believe it was a big hit, and I can see why, though I don't particularly like it. The sound of it (musically) is rather sad and depressing, and the lyrics seem coldly cynical. Do you agree?
