We didn't need dialogue. We had faces!

I hear this song every damn day on the radio at work. They loop the same songs over and over again, and the *NSYNC version plays. Grr-ah! Does that make me fee-rocious!donnie wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:40 pmOne of the best songs to come out of the 70's. Sigh....this one really transports me away...

You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Favorite Old Songs
One song I've always loved was Melanie's Brand New Key. My mom let me play with her 45's, and this one was in there. The B side was Some Say I Got Devil.
I still have the spool, along with many other 45s that I've acquired.

Oh, wow, I picked a bad one to post! I know what you mean about the loop. This one actually used to be on a loop at the supermarket I shop at—that's where I was reminded of it awhile back. I heard it several times there myself, but I didn't have to work there and hear it all day.

Those songs by Melanie are interesting—unique voice

So what is something else in that loop? I'm wondering if it could be the same one I used to hear at Bi-Lo. Did it have this?

I think it is! They play beat it, man in the mirror, Pretty Young Thing all by Michael Jackson, obla di obla da, hey Jude,Paul McCartney versions, some country.

Hmm, don't remember those, though they could have been in there. One that was in there that I used to hear ALL the time (always in the produce section, for some reason) was Don't Hold Me Down by Colbie Caillet.
Re: Favorite Old Songs
Is that the one that goes "Don't hold me down..... Brruucee"? Lol
