I had no idea what it meant and had to look it up. So Donnie doesn't accidentally see this before guessing, I'll put a spoiler tag. Turns out it means

Yes, I know what it means. :D The way I know is that it occurs in the nightmare song in Gilbert & Sullivan's Iolanthe that I posted a couple of years ago. Other than that, I probably wouldn't have known. The word doesn't sound at all like what it is.

I thought it meant a windowsill for EVER!
You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)

That’s what it sounds like—a part of a window. Go figure. :)

Linda Perhacs is enjoying a resurgence of interest in her work lately, and released her second and third albums in 2014 and 2017 respectively. This is from her first album in 1970.

That is amazing! This is the first I've heard of her. I'm also amazed that is from 1970—it sounds much more modern to me.

I finally got around to listening to those Seekers songs Donnie posted - how I love Judith Durham's voice! I wish I could sing so beautifully, lol. The Seekers' sound has a gentle, ethereal feel about it. Rather dreamlike.

Glad you like them! :D The guys had good voices as well, and Judith Durham's is the icing on the cake—a really classic sound. Their entire hour-long farewell concert is on YouTube. I've been watching it in bits and pieces. (They disbanded in '68, but got back together later for periods of time.)

The Seekers with a beautifully poignant rendition of this classic folk song.
