You trying to tell me you didn't hear that shriek? That was something trying to get out of its premature grave, and I don't want to be here when it does. - Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Re: Radio Personalities
So that's what she looked like. That's a really nice photo. One of my favorite OTR programs is one of Rudy Vallee's Royal Gelatin Hour shows that features Baby Snooks. It's on this page if you want to give it a listen sometime. (It's no. 22, the one with Tallulah Bankhead. I couldn't figure out how to do a link to that particular episode.)

Re: Radio Personalities
It's funny.... She's very pretty, but when she got into character, she was totally transformed.

Yes, I noticed that. And look at this one of her from 1928 (complete with cigarette). Hard to put those people together, isn't it?

Re: Radio Personalities
I wonder what the date of that ad is? Around 1930, I'd say?
Re: Radio Personalities
The photo may be that old, but the ad is from either 1940 or 1942. I didn't label this one, but it's from one of the two radio magazines I was looking at for articles of One Man's Family.
