Sirius XM's Radio Classics channel is kind of hit and miss, and I wish their programming schedule were more regular. But I'm always grateful when I can turn it on in my minivan (my only Sirius XM-equipped location) and hear good comedy.
The other day I was lucky to catch about 10 minutes of a Burns and Allen episode. I had not laughed at a show so much in months. The situation was Gracie trying to convince someone that George was Scottish poet Robert Burns' great-grandson, and the puns and malapropisms flew thick and fast. It culminated in George coming home to hear this lady (fully expecting a kilt) greet him with: "Why, Mr. Burns, I'm so disappointed you have your pants on!" It was a pure joy to listen to.
There are a few other shows that always get me happy. Jack Benny and Fibber McGee are among them. But, George and Gracie, wherever you are, thanks for continuing to make people laugh after all these years.

Re: Burns and Allen
Burns and Allen is definitely great!! I like their TV show, too. Jack Benny is a very favorite of mine, and I have listened to many Fibber McGee and Molly episodes. I try to listen to old time radio episodes in order, but it's not always easy the way they mis-name or mis-number episodes.
Either way it's pretty awesome how well they hold up!!

Reminds me of this photo of Jack Benny with his daughter.
