Re: Aftermath of Mt. St. Helens Eruption (1980)
I'll never forget it, we live about 80 miles from Mt. St. Helens. There were many subsequent eruptions after the first big initial blast on May 18th, weeks and months later, and we could see the plumes of ash going into the air. It's nothing we'd like to EVER see again. I'll bet not! Could you hear...

Re: Elliot Norton Interviews Tallulah Bankhead (1963)
She was in Hitchcock's Lifeboat and she was great, as were all the cast! One of his best movies.
I love her! To me she is a "poor man's" Judith Anderson. Or maybe Judith Anderson was a "poor man's Tallulah Bankhead.

Re: Betty White at 99
She was 99, what a fantastic long life she had. I loved her the best when she played Sue Ann Nivens on the Mary Tyler Moore show, but she was such a tireless advocate for pets, she was a real champion for the cause. And I always loved her sense of humor, she was somebody you could see as a real frie...

Re: Happy October!!!
I'm looking forward to the month as well. I've got a six foot tall rotten pumpkin head skeleton on my porch along with a big ghost. And I might add more as the month progresses.
I love your creepy avatar Betty Lou.

Re: Dark Shadows
I am absolutely dumbfounded that it took so many episodes for Barnabas to finally show up. I watched the series faithfully and in my sieve of a brain I would have sworn he was there from the get go of the series.
The series ended in 1971, that's only 50 years ago for cripes sake.
