Re: Toy Commercials
Oh, man, that is the neatest toy ever! I'd love to have one of those.
I used to have a clock that was kind of like that. It had some gears and innards you assembled to it to a real clock that ran. I'll have to see if I can find what that was.

Re: Teaching Films
Here is one my favorites. McGraw-Hill Textbook company made a lot of these social guidance films. This one is actually pretty interesting, both in terms of the main character and the reaction of people today as to who is at fault.

Speaking of which...Here is a shot of Douglas Fairbanks on the set of a film being directed by Allan Dwan (not sure which film it would be).

Re: Favorite photos of silent stars
That's a fascinating photo. It's always interesting to me to see off-camera shots of actors and actresses on the set.

Re: I Love Lucy
That's probably the one funniest scene ever put on television. No matter how many times I've seen it, I can't get my breath.Mrs. Danvers wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:21 amMy all time favorite and Lucille's Ball's favorite episode is the one with William Holden and Lucy lights her putty nose on fire.

Re: Great Folk Singers
It's amazing to see three legends together on the stage there—Mama Cass Elliott, Mary Travers, and Joni Mitchell. That's a threesome.
Yes, I wish that fashion would come back, too.

Re: Great Folk Singers
What a haunting voice and a haunting song—it is indeed a great combination of song and singer.
