Interesting! How did you find that out?
A Google image search turned up the photo in the Wikipedia article.

Anyone know who these are? I want to say the actress is Norma Talmadge...?
It's from this film. I thought that looked like Buddy Rogers, and I also thought that looked like Natalie, but apparently it is Marian Nixon.

That kind of spotlight from a major popular artist has the capability to get things moving. Maybe a dvd producer will see dollar...

I just read a cute little tell a tale book, 58 https://blog.silentphotoplay.com/2024/02/15/train-coming/ Oh, wow, I love that one! I love these little Whitman books—especially if they're about trains! :D I've got this thing about personified trains. A few years ago, I bought and downloaded the enti...

I also finished a modern novel I've been reading --- here's the review.

And I just realized a little while ago that my numbers have been off since like book 32. I fixed it. I've read 59 books since March 2020, not 58 😁

Re: Dark Shadows

Re 475 So. Dr. Lang = Frankenstein. Whoever is under that sheet --- his throat is moving. No need to put life into him. He's already alive! Dumb decision to do a closeup of him breathing. I guess since they knew it would be a quick shot, no one would notice. But I did even before I rewound to make s...

Re: Vintage Photos at Random

Going through boxes so I can fill my new curio (yes, I got a curio cabinet on Sunday, so excited!!) And found some pictures I'd acquired somewhere. Here's one. No idea who they are. I think it fell out of my Thomas Moore book that had all the death notices in it. IMG_20240214_163400.jpg And the back...
