Re: Book Reading
I've finished Penrod and Sam . I really enjoyed this. :D A couple of thoughts: My favorite part was when Penrod stole Margaret’s letter and had to read it in class. 480 Wow, Julia really lost it when she discovered the body. Shouldn't she have: 1. Checked out Jeff's story before hypnotizing him? and 2. Waited until away from Dr. Lang's house before attempting to phone the police?? 481 I could not identify who was doing the voiceover at the beginning—it must hav...

re 479 That doctor is the worst. 😆 He doesn't even know his lines, so much so that he's delivering them so flat while he's reading the prompter. This is not Jonathan Frid's best acting either. They're both reading the Teleprompter pretty heavily. :) Poor Jeff. How many times has he been tranquilized...

Re: Quote of the Day
A nice thought I ran across in my morning devotion:
Regardless of circumstances, each day is unique gift from our Creator that we can receive with gladness.
So true...too often we let worry, stress, anger, yesterday, tomorrow...rob us of the unique gift of today.

Re: Dark Shadows
re 477 That is quite the dress that Barnabas is wearing when Mr. Peterson visits his house. 😆 Yes. :D Also, when did Angelique have time to learn all these witchy spells and such? She was supposed to be Josette's maid. I think there was some discussion of that somewhere, maybe back in the 1795 story...
